  • We look after you

    EMA is a caring employer committed to promoting a healthy workplace culture through raising awareness about wellbeing and work-life balance. 

  • Staff consultation

    We consult with our staff on policies or issues that might directly affect them and listen to their view through the EMA Staff Committee. Its members also participate in selection procedures by appointing representatives to ensure equal, fair treatment and transparency during the process.

    The EMA Staff Committee is an intermediary body, set up and elected from among staff in accordance with the Staff Regulation, between staff and Management. It represents all EMA staff members and defends their individual or collective interests in their working environment.

  • Sport and Leisure Club

    While extensive use is made of our premises for social event a number of leisure activities also take place off site. 

    There are variety of clubs at the Agency, catering for all interests, among them football, theatre, art, music, golf, cinEMA, SMAAKlub, volleyball, and many others. 

  • Modern working environment

    Our premises are set in a new building in Amsterdam Zuidas where efficient office space and collaborative areas provide for a comfortable and pleasant working environment. The building also includes a variety of meeting/conference rooms custom designed to our needs as a networking organisation. Thanks to the use of natural materials, plenty of light and an impressive vertical garden the EMA building has achieved a near “zero-energy” rating (A++ Energy Labelling). Our building also offers a 350 seat restaurant, coffee bar, roof garden and a sky lounge on the top floor for an after work drink.
